As chiromancy is all about the hands of a person, different interpretations are given to the left and the right hand.

The main idea behind chiromancy is that the left hand is the one that a person is born with while the right hand is the hand which the person becomes.

This is because of the fact that the right hand is used more often and incorporates the changes that one undergoes in life.

Naturally, the opposite is held to be true for left handers.
